Soccer Game Preview: Northern Nash vs. Southern Nash

Northern Nash hasn't had much luck against Southern Nash recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Knights will be playing in front of their home fans against the Firebirds at 6:30 p.m. Northern Nash's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Northern Nash is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Hunt on Wednesday. The Knights fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, Northern Nash couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of JAYDEN ROBERSON, who's now up to 13 this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Southern Nash, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand Rocky Mount a 9-0 shutout on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for Southern Nash, who have now won six matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Southern Nash moved to 8-10-2 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak. As for Northern Nash, their loss dropped their record down to 11-4-2.

Northern Nash was able to grind out a solid win over Southern Nash in their previous meeting on October 1st, winning 2-0. Do the Knights have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Firebirds turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
