Basketball Recap: Montavius Holmes' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lee Central over Darlington

Lee Central lost against Darlington back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Stallions fell 51-43 to the Falcons.

Several Stallions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Montavius Holmes, who posted 13 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tyshawn Harry, who earned seven points.

Lee Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Darlington, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lee Central will venture away from home to face off against McBee at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The game will give the Stallions their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Darlington, they are headed away from home for the first time to square off against Marlboro County at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
