Ventura came tearing into Tuesday's match with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 victory over the Rio Mesa Spartans. This was payback for the Cougars, who suffered a 5-3 loss the last time these two teams met.
