Basketball Game Preview: Plainfield Quakers vs. Brownsburg Bulldogs

The Plainfield Quakers will take on the Brownsburg Bulldogs in a tournament on Monday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Plainfield took a loss when they played away from home last Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They strolled past Danville with points to spare, taking the game 49-35.

Meanwhile, Brownsburg came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 69-43 margin over the Bruins. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 23 points or more this season.

Brownsburg is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.1 points per game. As for Plainfield, their win bumped their record up to 11-5.
