Football Recap: Mobile Christian Piles Up the Points Against St. Stanislaus + How To Watch

Mobile Christian lost a heartbreaker the last time they played St. Stanislaus, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's matchup. The Leopards took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 52-0 win over the Rock-a-Chaws. The Leopards' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

A big part of Mobile Christian's victory came down to the chemistry between ISRAEL BENARD and his top target AIDEN GASTON. BENARD threw for 162 yards and three touchdowns while completing 81.8% of his passes while GASTON picked up 88 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Those 88 receiving yards gave GASTON a new career-high.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Mobile Christian proved: they limited St. Stanislaus to a paltry 0.3 yards per carry. The Leopards' ground attack was stronger, having averaged 4.1.

Mobile Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for St. Stanislaus, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Mobile Christian will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against St. Michael Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on the 10th. The Leopards will need to watch out since the Cardinals have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
