Peninsula had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They skirted past the Gig Harbor Tides 4-2. That's two games straight that the Seahawks have won by exactly two runs.

Peninsula pushed their record up to 16-7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Gig Harbor, their defeat ended a 12-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 24-2.
