Wilson Central won the last time they faced LaVergne and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wildcats blew past the Wolverines 14-4. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won six matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Wilson Central and bumps their season record up to 10-8. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for LaVergne, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Wilson Central will head out on the road to face off against Soddy Daisy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Wildcats surely won't give up without a fight. As for LaVergne, they will face off against Lebanon at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
