Volleyball Recap: North Gwinnett Bulldogs vs. North Forsyth Raiders

North Gwinnett and North Forsyth squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but North Gwinnett had to settle for second. They fell just short of the North Forsyth Raiders by a score of 3-2. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

North Gwinnett took North Forsyth into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking three-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-12, 25-20, 20-25, 15-12.

Despite the loss, North Gwinnett still got an impressive performance from Gabriella Roman, who had seven digs and four aces.

North Forsyth can attribute much of their success to Hannah Hagen, who had eight digs and two aces.

North Gwinnett's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 22-16. As for North Forsyth, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season.

North Gwinnett does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for North Forsyth, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Harrison on the 19th.
