Softball Recap: Wall Township Crimson Knights vs. St. John-Vianney Lancers
Wall Township fell victim to St. John-Vianney and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 12-0 to the Lancers. The Crimson Knights haven't had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
Wall Township's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for St. John-Vianney, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-2.
Wall Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. John-Vianney, they are taking a road trip to challenge Steinert at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Lancers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
