Basketball Recap: Dora Comes Up Short

Dora lost against Good Hope back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Dora Bulldogs were outmatched by the Good Hope Raiders and fell 83-22. The game marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Dora lost, don't look at Bella Reese. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Reese has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 26 times she's played. Millicent Wilson was another key player, putting up four points.

Even though they lost, Dora smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in seven consecutive contests.

Dora has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-8 record this season. As for Good Hope, their win bumped their record up to 15-4.
