The Ralston Valley Mustangs will head out on the road to square off against the Arvada West Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Ralston Valley is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season.

Ralston Valley is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Valor Christian, who was ranked 11th at the time (Ralston Valley was ranked second). The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Thursday. The result kept Ralston Valley happy, as they haven't lost a game yet this season.

Their goal came courtesy of Santana Sabus, who's now up to 17 this season.

Meanwhile, Arvada West kept a clean sheet against Chatfield on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Chargers. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Arvada West were the better team in the second half.

Ralston Valley's draw gives them a new season record of 7-0-3. As for Arvada West, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 7-4.

Ralston Valley took their victory against Arvada West in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 5-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
