Softball Recap: Graham Takes a Loss

Graham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers, falling 21-10. The Red Devils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Buccaneers from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Graham's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bartlett Yancey, the win snapped their losing streak at four games dating back to last season and leaves them with a 1-3 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Graham will welcome Northwood at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Graham has given up an average of 18.6 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Bartlett Yancey, they will be playing at home against Southeast Alamance at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Southeast Alamance is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10 runs per game this season.
