It's playoff time, and Flatonia had no trouble coming through when it counted. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Freer Buckaroos on Thursday. Considering the Bulldogs have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for Flatonia, bringing their record up to 12-8-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Freer, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-11.

Coming up, Flatonia will take on Burton on the 17th. The Panthers' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Freer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
