Soccer Game Preview: Richlands vs. Croatan

Richlands hasn't had much luck against Croatan recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Wildcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Cougars at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Richlands' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Dixon. Logan Collura-Repp had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Richlands.

Meanwhile, Croatan entered their tilt with West Carteret on Tuesday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 3-1.

Richlands' victory bumped their record up to 12-2-1. As for Croatan, their win bumped their record up to 5-9-2.

Richlands skirted past Croatan 1-0 in their previous meeting back in September. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
