Volleyball Recap: Lake Weir Comes Up Short

Lake Weir was the 3-1 winner over Dunnellon when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Hurricanes fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Hurricanes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lake Weir's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Dunnellon, their win bumped their record up to 3-6.

While Lake Weir had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
