Preview: Kathleen Red Devils vs. Tenoroc Titans
Kathleen is 9-1 against Tenoroc since January of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Kathleen Red Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Tenoroc Titans at 7:00 p.m. The timing is sure in Kathleen's favor as the squad sits on nine straight wins at home while Tenoroc has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road.
Kathleen stacked a 13th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They blew past Boca Ciega 86-17 at home. Kathleen's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Kathleen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dariasia Pitts led the charge by dropping a double-double on 30 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pitts has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayden Gause, who scored 19 points along with seven steals.
Meanwhile, Tenoroc was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Tuesday as they fell 36-30 to Discovery.
Kathleen is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Tenoroc, their loss dropped their record down to 0-9.
Everything came up roses for Kathleen against Tenoroc when the teams last played back in November of 2023 as the team secured a 69-1 win. With Kathleen ahead 54-0 at the half, the match was all but over already.
