Jason Ballesteros Game Report: vs Pleasant Grove

A big congratulations to Jason Ballesteros, who rushed for at least 100 rushing yards for the first time in his career. He rushed for 161 yards, but sadly Elk Grove still had to take a 10-7 loss at the hands of Pleasant Grove. We rated that as his best effort of the season, edging out his previous best, set last Friday, when he rushed for 73 yards and one touchdown on only seven carries (Gamescore: 18.2 vs. 17.8).

Looking ahead, Ballesteros and Elk Grove are taking a road trip to face off against Monterey Trail at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Ballesteros up against the Mustangs' star RB Odie Jefferson. With these two excellent players competing for bragging rights, there's bound to be some exciting action on the field. Who secures those bragging rights? Come back here to find out.
