Softball Recap: Lindale Eagles vs. North Lamar Panthers        
        
		
            
 With a playoff game on the line, Lindale rose to the challenge  on Wednesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the North Lamar Panthers  and snuck past  6-4. The  victory was familiar territory for Lindale who now have three in a row.
  Dylan Adams spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Izzy Koonce, who  went 4-for-4 with four  RBI and two  doubles.  Emma Watkins was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 Lindale is  on a roll lately: they've  won six of their last seven matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 13-12-1 record  this season. As for North Lamar, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-14.
 Lindale will have a chance to go back-to-back against North Lamar: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
