Basketball Game Preview: Central Florida Christian Academy Eagles vs. Lake Mary Rams

The Central Florida Christian Academy Eagles and the Lake Mary Rams will face off at 3:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Central Florida Christian Academy sitting on six straight victories and Lake Mary on three.

Central Florida Christian Academy saw some tournament action on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 63-45 win over Jones. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 28th, while the Fightin' Tigers are ranked 235th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lake Mary earned a 56-48 victory over Martin County on Thursday.

Central Florida Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Lake Mary, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
