Basketball Recap: Wesleyan Christian Piles Up the Points Against Bluejacket

Wesleyan Christian waltzed into their matchup on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Bluejacket Chieftains 82-32. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 52-24 back in January.

Wesleyan Christian's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.2 points over those games. As for Bluejacket, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Looking ahead, Wesleyan Christian will host Regent Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wesleyan Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six contests -- so hopefully Regent Prep likes a good challenge. As for Bluejacket, they are taking a road trip to take on Copan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
