It may have taken nine innings to finish the job, but Davenport ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They walked away with a 13-10 win over the Hominy Bucks. The victory was just business as usual for the Bulldogs, who after seven games remain undefeated this season.

The team relied heavily on Brody Robinson, who scored five runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Chase Mitchell, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in four of his six plate appearances.

Davenport's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Hominy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Davenport will face off against Stroud at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Hominy, they will head out to take on Caney Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
