After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Lincoln, Tylertown was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They never let the Amite County Trojans get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory. That looming 14-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Chiefs yet this season.

Tylertown pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Amite County, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Tylertown will have a chance to go back-to-back against Amite County: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
