Given the Paladins' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 137th, while the Cowboys are ranked 378th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Plantation is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 5-11 record this season.
