Volleyball Recap: Orting Cardinals vs. Sequim Wolves
Orting lost to Sequim back in November of 2022, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Orting Cardinals blew past the Sequim Wolves 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.
The final score came out to 25-16, 25-21, 25-17.
Myquela Pride paced Orting's offense, picking up seven kills. Pride got some help from
RaeLee Ramirez and her 15 assists.
Abby Collins controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Orting is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Sequim, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-9.
Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Orting will challenge Columbia River on Friday. Columbia River will roll in looking for their 17th straight victory, something Orting surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sequim, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bainbridge at 2:00 p.m. on November 21st.
