Soccer Recap: Spearfish Comes Up Short

Spearfish was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Lincoln Patriots, falling 6-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Spearfish of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Spearfish's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lincoln, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Spearfish will square off against rival Jefferson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lincoln is set to face off against their familiar foe Brandon Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
