Northwest Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They claimed a resounding 44-15 win over Winlock. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolverines considering their eight-point performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 50 points the game before, Oakville was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by Winlock and fell 41-8. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Acorns came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 27th, while the Cardinals are ranked 101st).

Northwest Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Oakville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-3 record this season.
