League recap: Calhoun winning streak up to seven games

Calhoun (12-2, 6-0) is red-hot, having won seven straight games, the longest such streak in Section 8 AA-3. The streak was extended by another game over the past week, a 3-1 victory over Massapequa.

Calhoun made the biggest jump in the national rankings, moving from 1552 to 1293 thanks to a 1-0 record over the past week. The Colts are currently No. 27 in the state of New York, with an overall record of 12-2.
