Baseball Recap: Hopewell-Loudon's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

If Hopewell-Loudon was riding high fresh off their 7-0 takedown of St. Mary Central Catholic on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chieftains fell just short of the Mohawk Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The contest marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Hopewell-Loudon got a good showing from Asher Smith, who pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That one hit allowed gave Smith a new career-low.
