Newfound Regional lost against Hillsboro-Deering back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears lost 7-2 to the Hillcats. Newfound Regional's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it five in a row.

Newfound Regional's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-2. As for Hillsboro-Deering, with the victory, they broke their nine-match losing streak and moved their record to 3-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Newfound Regional will challenge Winnisquam at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillsboro-Deering, they will square off against Trinity at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
