Baseball Recap: Falls Lake Picks Up Third Straight Win at Home

Falls Lake pushed their score to 18 the last time they played NCSSM: Durham, but on Tuesday they couldn't quite do it again. Falls Lake came out on top against NCSSM: Durham by a score of 4-0. The Firebirds haven't had any issues with the Unicorns recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

The result came thanks to Jacob Watson's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up 19 Ks. He has become a key player for Falls Lake: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 3-4 otherwise.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Dalton Parker, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Falls Lake's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5.
