Football Game Preview: Canton-Galva vs. Goessel

Canton-Galva have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Goessel at 7:00 PM. Goessel will need to watch out since Canton-Galva have now posted big point totals in their last four contests.

Canton-Galva got themselves on the board against Peabody-Burns last Friday, but Peabody-Burns never followed suit. Everything came up roses for Canton-Galva against Peabody-Burns as the squad secured a 48-0 victory. Followers of Canton-Galva probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.

Meanwhile, Goessel got themselves on the board against Herington, but Herington never followed suit. Goessel took the match and then some with a 48-0 win over Herington. The success represented a nice turnaround for Goessel, who in their last game suffered a tough 14-60 loss.

Their wins bumped Canton-Galva to 4-1 and Goessel to 3-2. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Canton-Galva and Goessel will really light up the scoreboard.
