Oldenburg Academy had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.8 goals) and they went ahead and made it 10 on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Connersville Spartans. Give Oldenburg Academy's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

Oldenburg Academy has now won seven of their last eight games at home. That gives them an 11-3 record this season. Those home wins were made possible by their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 32 goals over those eight matches. As for Connersville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oldenburg Academy will head out to take on Centerville at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Centerville's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal (dating back to last season), so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
