Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lake Orion). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the North Farmington Raiders an 18-0 shutout on Wednesday. The Dragons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by six runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Lake Orion and bumps their season record up to 9-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for North Farmington, they dropped their record down to 4-6 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Lake Orion will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Raiders: the pair will be back at it again later today.
