Basketball Game Preview: Fulshear Chargers vs. Alief Taylor Lions

Fulshear is on a three-game streak of home losses, Alief Taylor a four-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Fulshear Chargers will host the Alief Taylor Lions at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Fulshear fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Randle on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 78-73 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was David Najeme, who posted 12 points and eight rebounds. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Kenny Chukelu, who went 5 of 8 on his way to 11 points and six rebounds.

Meanwhile, Alief Taylor came up short against Almeta Crawford on Friday and fell 62-55.

Alief Taylor's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Fulshear, their loss dropped their record down to 7-13.

Fulshear was able to grind out a solid win over Alief Taylor in their previous meeting back in November, winning 53-44. Will Fulshear repeat their success, or does Alief Taylor have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
