Baseball Game Preview: Pasquotank County Panthers vs. Northeastern Eagles

For the second straight game, Pasquotank County will face off against Northeastern. The Panthers will head out to square off against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Pasquotank County has now lost 11 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 21.

Northeastern hit Pasquotank County with a four-run third inning on Tuesday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 8-7.

For Northeastern's part, Michael Everett was incredible, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Everett is becoming a predictor of the Eagles' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 1-14 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Jermaine Dashiell, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two doubles, and one RBI.

Northeastern's victory bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Pasquotank County, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.
