Soccer Game Preview: Altus vs. MacArthur

Altus is 0-6 against MacArthur since March of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will host the Highlanders at 5:00 p.m. Altus has given up an average of 4.2 goals per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Altus is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Friday. They came up short against Elgin, falling 8-0.

Meanwhile, MacArthur entered their tilt with Duncan on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Demons a 2-0 shutout. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but MacArthur were the better team in the second half.

Naleah Cordes and Emma Hart scored both of MacArthur's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

MacArthur's win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Altus, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
