Forest Grove and Newberg are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2018, but not for long. The Vikings will head out on the road to take on the Tigers at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Forest Grove has six straight wins, Newberg has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Forest Grove and McMinnville have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Vikings put the hurt on the Grizzlies with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Newberg faced off against Century on Monday. The Tigers fell just short of the Jaguars by a score of 3-2.

Newberg's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Forest Grove, their win bumped their record up to 21-3.

Forest Grove took their victory against Newberg in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
