Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Harding Prep). They snuck past the Casady Cyclones with a 74-69 victory on Tuesday. Harding Prep has seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Casady, too.

Despite the loss, Casady had strong showings from James Elder, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 19 rebounds, and Davis Currie, who went 9-for-20 en route to 21 points. The dominant performance gave Elder a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jozef Pikula, who posted seven points and five rebounds.

Harding Prep's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Casady, they dropped their record down to 2-20 with the defeat, which was their eighth straight at home.

Harding Prep has already played their next game, an 80-67 loss against Crooked Oak on the 13th. As for Casady, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 57-44 defeat against Community Christian on the 13th.
