Basketball Game Preview: Muscle Shoals Trojans vs. Arab Knights

The Muscle Shoals Trojans will take on the Arab Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Friday, Muscle Shoals made easy work of Athens and carried off a 54-32 victory. Given the Trojans' advantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 39th, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 200th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, everything went Arab's way against Kate Duncan Smith DAR on Friday as Arab made off with a 61-41 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Arab pushed their record up to 13-10 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Muscle Shoals, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-6 record this season.
