Softball Preview: St. Luke's Storm vs. Kent School Lions
The St. Luke's Storm will face off against the Kent School Lions at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Luke's will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.
While St. Luke's win against Canterbury School wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Storm skirted past the Saints 7-6.

Caroline D'Onofrio spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

St. Luke's victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Kent School, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
St. Luke's came out on top in a nail-biter against Kent School when the teams last played back in April of 2022, sneaking past 6-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Storm since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
