Basketball Game Preview: Cedar Ridge Timberwolves vs. Tuckerman Bulldogs

Cedar Ridge hasn't had much luck against Tuckerman recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves will face off against the Tuckerman Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Tuesday, Cedar Ridge had to suffer through a 61-30 loss at the hands of Sloan-Hendrix. While losing is never fun, the Timberwolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 150th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 18th).

Meanwhile, Tuckerman suffered their closest defeat since December 13, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Marked Tree by a score of 44-41.

Cedar Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Tuckerman, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-7.

Cedar Ridge suffered a grim 60-37 defeat to Tuckerman when the teams last played back in December of 2024. Can Cedar Ridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
