Basketball Recap: Cheney Tech Comes Up Short

If Cheney Tech was riding high fresh off their 73-50 takedown of Ellis RVT last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chargers came up short against the Enfield Eagles on Tuesday, falling 82-59. The Chargers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in January of 2025.

Cheney Tech's loss dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Enfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cheney Tech won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Vinal RVT at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Chargers will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least 55 points in their last six contests. As for Enfield, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against East Hartford at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Hornets have now posted at least 55 points in their last four games.
