Softball Recap: Trinity Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Trinity's offense. They came up short against the St. Francis Spartans on Wednesday, falling 15-0. The Blazers haven't had much luck with the Spartans recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Trinity saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Trendel, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double. That double marked the first that Trendel has hit this season.

Trinity's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for St. Francis, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Trinity does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Francis, they will square off against De La Salle at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
