Soccer Recap: Belvidere Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Glenbard West, Belvidere was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the North Boone Vikings by a score of 4-2. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Belvidere's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

They hit North Boone with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jordan Flores (2), Justin Antunez, and Boris Carrillo.

Belvidere's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for North Boone, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Belvidere wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat against Harlem on the 2nd. As for North Boone, they have also already played their next match, a 5-1 loss against Alleman on the 30th.
