Volleyball Recap: Wasilla Comes Up Short

Wasilla saw some tournament action on Thursday. They fell just short of the Nome-Beltz Nanooks by a score of 1-0.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Wasilla sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14.

Wasilla's loss dropped their record down to 16-14-2. As for Nome-Beltz, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-12-2 record this season.

Wasilla does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nome-Beltz, they will take on Lathrop at 2:30 p.m. on Friday.
