Softball Recap: Lake Placid Comes Up Short

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Lake Placid was a bit more limited in their game on Thursday. They came up short against the Crown Point Panthers, falling 15-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Bombers were not able to get on the board.

Lake Placid's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Crown Point, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Lake Placid wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-3 defeat against Bolton Central on the 2nd. As for Crown Point, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 29-0 victory against Wells on the 2nd.
