Softball Recap: Wasatch Takes a Loss

After flying high against Park City last Monday, Wasatch came back down to earth. The Wasatch Wasps came up short against the South Summit Wildcats on Tuesday, falling 6-0. The Wasps have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

Wasatch saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Liana Jones, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Wasatch's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for South Summit, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Wasatch will host Maple Mountain at 3:30 p.m. on March 18th. As for South Summit, they will challenge San Juan at 12:00 p.m. on Friday.
