It was a Battle of the Birds when Triton faced off against Western Harnett on Tuesday. The Hawks were the clear victors by  a  9-1 margin over the Eagles. Considering the Hawks have won nine matches by more than seven  runs this season, Tuesday's  blowout was nothing new.
The team  relied heavily on  Berkley Campbell, who  went 2-for-4 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.  Sydney Bradham was another key player,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-4.
 Triton  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in five consecutive  games.
With the  win, Triton broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-5. As for Western Harnett, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 10-8.
Triton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
