Softball Game Preview: Washington Eagles vs. Mission Bears

The Washington Eagles will square off against the Mission Bears at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

Washington proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 16) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Galileo, sneaking past 19-17. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Mission got the win against Burton on Thursday by a conclusive 20-9.

The victory was their first at home, bumping their record up to 2-5. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Everything went Washington's way against Mission in their previous meeting back in April, as Washington made off with a 34-1 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bears turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
