Basketball Game Preview: Dodson Panthers vs. LaSalle Tigers

Dodson is 0-10 against LaSalle since December of 2018 but things could change on Monday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Dodson Panthers face off against the LaSalle Tigers at 5:00 p.m.

Dodson is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They lost to Harrisonburg at home by a 62-44 margin on Friday. The Panthers just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Meanwhile, LaSalle hadn't done well against Northwood recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. LaSalle took down Northwood 42-25. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Tigers.

LaSalle pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.8 points. As for Dodson, their loss dropped their record down to 2-10.

Dodson was taken down by LaSalle 69-1 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Dodson avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
